Beca is a small television company that produces high quality television programmes for the main broadcasters in Wales. It was formed in 1997 by Helen Williams-Elis with the aim of creating ambitious, memorable and entertaining programmes.

Our main television series for years was Great Welsh Roads for ITV1 Wales, presented by popular writer Mike Parker. This was one of the most successful television shows in Wales. We also worked with Mike on “The Trouble with Tourists”, a series for Radio Wales.

Helen also works as a freelance producer and director for various production companies. A recent project was an hour long film for the O Flaen Dy Lygaid strand for BBC Cymru, "The High Sheriff" b>.

Another project “DJ in Beijing” for the S4C television series “Wynebau Newydd” is the story of Bangor born Marek Griffith who works as a DJ and night club promoter in Beijing.
